Apart from music, my other favourite pastime is flying. Anyone seriously interested in aviation simply has to go to the Mecca of aviation, the EAA Airventure held each July in Oshkosh.
I have been a member of the EAA since 1995 and here, in these photos, I am playing with some great musicians on the Flying Musicians Association stage. John Zapp founded the FMA and if you are a pilot and musician, it’s a great association to join.
Here I am playing with Gary Filip, keys, and Jim West (I think) on bass. Both great musicians. We played a couple of Greg Lake tunes – Lucky Man and From The Beginning, and some Eric Clapton blues with a couple of my original tunes thrown in.
