I wrote this song a while ago and just came across my recording, trying different things to see how I would do it. This is all me on guitar but I subsequently wrote a version with piano, violin and duet although never got to record it although I did perform it in church a couple of times as special music. I made my wife sing it with me. To say she was nervous, her first time ever singing in public, would be an understatement but she has a good ear and did a great job. It’s not the easiest thing to sing.
As with all my efforts, I plan to either pay someone to do a “proper” demo at some time. I’d use AI but I don’t like AI as a general rule and prefer to pay musicians.
I do have manuscript of various types for this song and will post it when I get a chance. Along with the lyrics.
The intro is taken from my favourite song as a child although you may notice it’s a minor key.
