This is just a quick note, more for me to track progress than anything else.
Last night, for the first time in years, I was able to watch a program on the TV without reading the captions, without my hearing aid in my left ear, without streaming and without having to really concentrate or lip read.
That is just so great. It still sounds a lot like Donald Duck, and I did not even notice until about an hour in that I could understand the speech. It’s probably somewhat related to who was speaking too, but I don’t care. I’m happy with that.
