We had a great evening at Soda Pop Junction in Lynnville last night. Some friends that we had not seen in a while came around, we got to celebrate Clayton’s birthday and had a generally great time.
I will post some photos and some clips from the night a little later this week.
I played a few tunes from Clapton like Nobody Knows You (When You’re Down & Out), Neil Young (Heart Of Gold), John Lennon’s version of Stand By Me, Gordon Lightfoot’s If You Could Read My Mind, Randy Travis’ Three Wooden Crosses and Willie Nelson’s All Of Me & You Were Always on My Mind and Kris Kristofferson’s Me & Bobby McGee, among 2 hours worth of other tunes including my own Lovers And Fools, Two Tickets and Getting Old.
I make a habit of recording every evening now so it’s really just a matter of cutting some clips into a short demo which I will try to do this week, maybe during a thunderstorm !
